The Mackie d8b is the first digital mixer to effectively break the price / performance barrier and deliver a great-sounding, extremely flexible mixer at a revolutionary price. It is designed to be as easy to use as an analog board, but has more features than some mixers costing 10 times as much! You get 48 channels of fully automatable gating, compression, and an incredibly flexible parametric EQ section. Built-in digital effects include reverb, delay, and chorus.

On-screen graphic interface mirrors front controls and meter bridge. Full-feature editing software is built-in: provides nondestructive cut, copy, paste; 999 un-do's with realtime history list; continuously scrolling track waveforms; 2x, 4x, 8x, and 24x track displays; drag-and-drop cross fades and track slip; regions and super (noncontiguous) regions. Syncs to SMPTE or MIDI. Internal Word Clock, SMPTE, Black Burst, NTSC, and PAL sync built in. 100BaseT Ethernet port built in. Use with d8b or standalone with analog or other digital consoles. I/O card bay accepts all Mackie Digital Systems cards including analog, ADAT, TDIF, AES/EBU.

The TLM 103 is the ideal large diaphragm microphone for all professional applications requiring the utmost in sound quality. By utilizing the tried and true transformerless circuit found in numerous Neumann microphones. The capsule, derived from that used in the U 87, has a cardioid pattern, is acoustically well-balanced and provides extraordinary attenuation of signals from the rear. Uses transformerless circuitry for ultra-low self-noise and handles sound pressure levels up to 138dB. Cardioid polar pattern optimizes attenuation of unwanted sound and suppresses feedback. Protective wire mesh grille protects capsule and prevents pop noises. Frequency range: 20Hz to 20kHz.
